Ranbar Optical Brightener KCB is a benzoxazole optical brightener agent, appearing as a yellow-green powder with a blue-white fluorescent color. It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, acetone, xylene, polyvinyl chloride, carbon tetrachloride, dimethylformamide, etc. It has a maximum absorption wavelength of 370nm and a maximum fluorescence emission wavelength of 437nm.

Ranbar KCB Optical Brightener Agent is a non-toxic, odorless, water-insoluble benzoxazole-type optical brightener agent. It possesses excellent heat resistance, lightfastness, weather resistance, and chemical stability. It does not react with plasticizers, foaming agents, cross-linking agents, and other substances. It exhibits good compatibility with polymeric materials, with no exudation or extractability. Additionally, it offers the advantages of convenient application, low usage, and effective whitening. Its spectral absorption wavelength is 370nm, and the fluorescence emission wavelength is 437nm.

 

Product Application:
Ranbar Optical Brightener Agent KCB features a bright blue-white tone and outstanding whitening effects, primarily utilized for whitening synthetic fibers and plastic products. It exhibits a remarkable brightening effect on colored plastic products and is widely employed in the fields of plastic films, laminating materials, injection molding materials, and polyester fibers, among other polymer materials. It demonstrates excellent whitening effects on polyolefins, PVC, foamed PVC, TPR, EVA, PU, PE foamed plastics, and synthetic rubber. Additionally, it can be used for whitening in coatings and natural oil-based paints.

Reference dosage:
For plastics or resins, the recommended dosage of Ranbar KCB Optical Brightener Agent is 0.005% to 0.05%. Users can adjust the specific amount of the brightener based on the desired level of whiteness. If other additives such as titanium dioxide or ultraviolet absorbers are included in the plastic raw materials, the optimal dosage of the optical brightener should be adjusted accordingly.
